“SPACE” (Charcoal Stop-Motion)
This animation is based around the creation of the universe, The Big Bang, slowly zooming into our home planet earth. The inspiration is taken heavily from “Powers of Ten” film and Marvel’s “Loki” series, episode 6 intro. The animation was created in a black and white aesthetic with white charcoal pencils and black paper for the background for convenience, also erasers to display each part of the universe creation, part by part. The vision was to give off a very mysterious and ominous feeling, being lost in space and overwhelmed with the expansion of our vast universe. To compliment the ominous effect I decided to include quiet and classical music for my sound.
